Vance, once a Trump critic, was seen grinning while telling House Speaker Mike Johnson, “Yes, it is, a full reckoning, and long overdue.” Johnson, moving the microphone away, responded, “The hardest thing was doing it during Biden’s speech.” It’s unclear who Vance was referring to, but his comments follow a tense White House meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky.
Recently, Vance also sparked backlash by calling Britain a “random country.” His remarks have fueled speculation about his political intentions.
