Last week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared that South African Ambassador Ebrahim Rasool is no longer welcome in the U.S. On Friday, Rubio took to X, calling Rasool a “race-baiting politician who hates America.
” He stated, “We have nothing to discuss with him, and he is therefore considered PERSONA NON GRATA.” Rubio shared a Breitbart News article highlighting Rasool’s past derogatory remarks about former President Donald Trump. The ambassador faced expulsion after alleging at a recent event that Trump was leading a global white supremacist movement.
