Following the recent deaths of Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawa, questions have emerged about his estate. Hackman,
who had two daughters and a son from a previous marriage, was found dead alongside Arakawa in their Santa Fe home on February 26, 2025. Arakawa’s death was attributed to Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome, while Hackman, suffering from severe heart disease and Alzheimer’s, likely passed around February 18.
