Jim Jordan confident Patel and Bongino will give answers on FBI ‘soon’

Date:

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) was enthusiastic about Congress working with FBI Director Kash Patel and the recently announced FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, who he said are “two great guys” qualified for the job.

Jordan said he is looking forward to getting “answers” and weaponization documents from the agency. The lawmaker added that both Congress and voters are “entitled” to know why the Biden administration targeted concerned parents at school boards and that answers will be provided “soon,” predicting within the next two weeks.

“How about this one? Twenty-six confidential human sources here on January 6th, 17 in restricted space, four in the Capitol, which they were not authorized to be in,” Jordan detailed on Fox News’s The Ingraham Angle. “Two of the four who went into the Capitol were actually asked to be here by the FBI! They said ‘can you be here that day?’ I want to know how much they were paid. How long they’ve been working for the FBI. How’d they get in the Capitol? Did they go through a broken window, go through a broken door, all kinds of questions we have. We want answers to those and a host of other things.”

Jordan confirmed that Congress has issued subpoenas to the FBI for this information. Other critical information he wants answers to include finding out who planted the pipe bombs on Jan. 6, who leaked the Dobbs opinion in May 2022, and who placed cocaine within the White House in 2023.

“So we’re just wanting answers that we think the folks we get the privilege of representing and serving would like to have answers to,” Jordan said.

BONGINO GOES FROM BASEMENT BROADCASTER TO DEPUTY FBI DIRECTOR, MAKING MILLIONS

Jordan’s letter to Patel was delivered on Monday, just a day after Bongino was announced as the agency’s deputy director.

Bongino addressed his new position in his show, The Dan Bongino Show, on Monday, during which he explained that it was time for him to “step up” and serve his country in his role at the FBI. He also acknowledged that it is “not easy” to say goodbye to his show and that he would reveal more about its future soon. The host’s final episode is set for March 14.
